RCB skipper, Virat Kohli expresses his pleasure after finally winning the toss against Rohit Sharma led, MI. He says:

‘It’s Unbelievable’.

Virat Kohli would be the only captain in the world who finds winning the toss is difficult than winning the match. We know that there is no hold on winning the toss, still, Kohli finds it staggering.

The 32-year-old skipper of RCB hardly wins the toss in any match which plays a crucial role in the match. He recently won only 2 tosses out of 12 against England at home.

He was looked into the real struggle while hosting the series against England. England played a total of four Tests, five T20I’s and three ODI’s comprised of 12 matches in which Kohli won on 10 tosses.

His poor record of toss was not seen only against England but he also found himself on the wrong side while playing other than England.

In 35 games that he played against England as a captain, Kohli won the toss only eight times. Overall, he has won 85 tosses out of 200 matches in which he led India.

Virat Kohli has the worst toss winning ratio which is 0.74 and it is the worst for any Indian captain who has led India for at least 200 games.

‘Virat Kohli’s reaction’

Virat Kohli stated that his campaign in IPL is finally off to a great start as he won the toss in the opener of IPL 2021. The RCB skipper saw that the coin flip went in his favour so he could not hide his excitement.

Kohli called it unbelievable and joked about the fact that mini-break helped him finally win the toss and he decided to bowl first against MI in the first match of IPL 2021.

“It’s unbelievable, bit of a mini-break helped me I guess to win a toss. Going to bowl first. They’re a side who likes chasing. Good chance for us to get onto the park and create some intensity. With the balance we have this year we can do both, but have to understand who you’re playing against. We understand with the depth they have they have never out of the game. Bowling first was a no-brainer for us,”

he said at the toss.
