IPL points table, orange and purple cap holders after KKR vs RCB match
Kolkata Knight Riders are back in the race of top 4 after a dominating victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore at Abu Dhabi on Monday.
Kolkata Knight Riders found their hopes back in the league after producing a clinical performance against Royal Challengers Bangalore to win the match by nine wickets in match number 31 of Indian Premier League (IPL) at Abu Dhabi on Monday.
With this victory, KKR is back in the race of top-four while RCB’s net run-rate took a fall after a heavy loss in their first game of UAE leg IPL.
On Tuesday, Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals will go head-to-head and the winner of the game will level their eight points with Mumbai Indians.
IPL Points Table
KKR’s dominating victory over RCB helped them win the fifth spot in the points table. It was their first victory in the 2021 campaign of IPL.
RCB keeps standing in the third position but a heavy defeat in the 31st match give their net run-rate quite a fall as KKR chased the target of 93 in 10 overs with nine wickets in hand.
CSK, after beating the defending champions Mumbai Indians on Sunday took the lead of the points table with 12 points on their side.
Delhi Capitals also hold 12 points but they are below CSK as they have an inferior run rate.
Mumbai Indians are fourth with 8 points, Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings are sixth and seventh with 6 points.
SunRisers Hyderabad is on the bottom of the points table with only one victory in seven games.

Orange Cap Holder List
A low-scoring game at Abu Dhabi means there are not many changes in the list of top run-scorers in IPL.
Shikhar Dhawan is leading the table with 380 runs from eight matches while KL Rahul has scored 331 runs with the second spot and Faf du Plessis has scored 320 runs to stand third on the list.

Delhi Capitals’ Avesh Khan and Rajasthan Royals’ Chris Morris are located on the second spot of most wicket-takers with 14 wickets each in the tournament so far.
