The Briton Joe Salisbury, who plays in doubles with American Rajeev Ram, was forced to withdraw from the ATP tournament of the Masters series in Paris due to contact with infected Covid-19.

The ATP reported that Salisbury properly contacted a person who had been confirmed to be diagnosed with coronavirus. This infected person was sent to isolation. Salisbury’s analysis didn’t give a positive result for Covid-19, and he also lacks symptoms of the disease. However, the Briton was also transferred to self-isolation as per medical regulations.

At the moment, Salisbury and Ram take first place in the champion race in doubles. The duo won the Australian Open 2020.

The tournament in Paris takes place from November 2 to 8, with empty tribunes.
