Biography:
Pavan Deshpande is a professional Indian cricket player who mainly plays for Karnataka. He made his List A debut in the year 2017 for Vijay Hazare Trophy. Pavan made his first-class debut in 2016 for Ranji Trophy. Currently, he is playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL, and the team bought him in 2018.
Pavan is a left-handed batsman and a right-arm off-break bowler. He is mainly known for his ability to throw short pitch deliveries. His vigorous running and hard-hitting made him popular for the T20 format. Pavan made his first T20 debut in 2016 by representing the Karnataka cricket team.
He opened for his team and scored 29 off 27 balls to help the team achieve the victory. With the great performance in T20 matches, he went to showcase his talent in the first-class format. In 2016, he made his debut and scored a total of 70 runs in the first innings against Maharashtra.
Royal Challengers Bangalore bought him for 20 lakhs in 2018 for the IPL, but he was not included in the playing 11 for that particular season. However, he showcased his all-rounder talent in the 2020 season, and everyone was impressed with his skills.
