Kolkata Knight Riders found their hopes back in the league after producing a clinical performance against Royal Challengers Bangalore to win the match by nine wickets in match number 31 of Indian Premier League (IPL) at Abu Dhabi on Monday.

With this victory, KKR is back in the race of top-four while RCB’s net run-rate took a fall after a heavy loss in their first game of UAE leg IPL.

IPL Points Table

KKR’s dominating victory over RCB helped them win the fifth spot in the points table. It was their first victory in the 2021 campaign of IPL.

RCB keeps standing in the third position but a heavy defeat in the 31st match give their net run-rate quite a fall as KKR chased the target of 93 in 10 overs with nine wickets in hand.

Delhi Capitals also hold 12 points but they are below CSK as they have an inferior run rate.

Mumbai Indians are fourth with 8 points, Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings are sixth and seventh with 6 points.

SunRisers Hyderabad is on the bottom of the points table with only one victory in seven games.
