Faf Du Plessis who recently collided with his teammate, Mohammad Hasnain while trying to save the boundary has been ruled out from PSL after a concussion.

The former South African skipper, Faf Du Plessis will not provide his services for Quetta Gladiators in the remaining matches of PSL following a collision with his teammate, Mohammad Hasnain while trying to save the boundary, he is now set to fly back home.

Du Plessis also mentioned that he has suffered some memory loss which according to the sources; that he has forgotten about the incident that took place in Abu Dhabi in their recent match.

The incident took place in match number 19 of PSL when they were bowling first against Peshawar Zalmi.

The 36-year-old faced a serious collision and he laid down subconsciously on the ground when the physio attended him immediately and took him to hospital.

He is replaced by the opener, Saim Ayub as an opener after the concussion. Du Plessis also did not take part in Tuesday’s clash against Lahore Qalandars.

The former African captain is set to fly back home from Abu Dhabi tonight.

said Quetta Gladiators’ official account.

the former Proteas skipper du Plessis tweeted on Sunday.

“I’m back at the hotel recovering. Have a concussion with some memory loss but I will be fine. Hopefully, be back on the field soon.”
