The last playoff for dream 11, IPL 2020 starts today between Delhi Capitals and SunRisers Hyderabad. The match starts at 7 pm IST and the live coverage will be shown all over the world.

IPL 2020; OVERALL PERFORMANCE

Both the teams have played exceptionally so far in this season. DC stands second on the points table and SRH right after it. The race for the trophy has become excited in the final moments. Every team fought their best to make sure that they qualify for the playoffs but only MI, SRH, DC and RCB could make it.

CSK and RR not only lost too many matches in the start but also with a huge margin of run-rate.

They were sent home earlier as they could not make it for their poor performance. KKR and KX1P had a good chance but they could also not avail it. There were close in making to the playoffs but due to their bad strategies at the start of the season, the last matches they won had no impact.

The first playoff was played between MI (who won four titles of IPL so far) and DC (who hasn’t won any title yet) but they stood second on the points table due to their exceptional performance under the captaincy of Shreyas Iyer. Batting first MI put a huge total of 200 runs with the loss of 5 wickets. DC while chasing trembled because of the tremendous performance from Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult. They lost 4 early wickets and they could not get themselves together. With the loss of 8 wickets, they score only 143 runs.

The second playoff was played between RCB and SRH. This one was both tough and important. Only one team would go further to play the third playoff with the loser from playoff one. RCB batted first and they could not put a great show as expected by the viewers and fans. Kohli and company keep losing wickets and they could only reach a total of 131 runs in 20 overs. SRH on the other hand chased it in the final over with the loss of 4 wickets.

DC VS SRH; WHO WILL MAKE TO THE FINAL?

The final playoff will start today at 7 pm IST between DC and SRH. The winner will play a final with MI (four times winner of IPL) on Tuesday.

SunRisers Hyderabad has a balanced and experienced team if we look into their batting and bowling. Wridhiman Saha looks in great touch as he scored 214 in the four matches that he played. Kane Williamson has returned from the injury. Jason Holder looks in good form as he can shock both with the bat and ball.

The Bengal wicket-keeper batsman played a single match in which he scored 31 runs in 30 balls to defeat KKR. He was brought in the team to make difference in the numbers and he proved himself quite well. He scored 184 runs in only 3 innings with an average scoring rate of 92 until he ruled out due to the groin injury in the match against RCB.

SRH has a lot of players that can help it make to the final. If Williamson and Holder can play better, they have a good chance. Warner and Rashid also played well-enough from their respective departments. They have proved their worth so far. Warner and Saha must have a combined effect from the top order if they want to play the final. Williamson, Manish Pandey and Holder have to understand their role.

Rashid Khan, Natarajan and Sandeep Sharma also look in great form. Three of them can handle the bowling side effectively. They just need to ball naturally in this big match game.

Capitals on the other hand, do not look a piece of cake. They came with a strong combination and winning streak that backs them up with 5 wins over 6 matches. Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje are among the wicket-takers in the list with their strong variation and pace.

Shikhar Dhawan has played exceptionally well in this season with two back to back hundreds and three fifties. Although, he did not perform well in the last few games. There is no doubt in the excellence of Shikhar Dhawan as he proved himself in a lot of big matches.

The skipper, Shreyas Iyer has also a strong impact with the bat although he failed to stand for his team in some of the matches. Rishabh Pant, the wicket-keeper batsman also failed to perform. He starts his game by hitting some 2-3 boundaries but he could not take it along. That is why he was unable to score a single half-century in this whole season.

Marcus Stoinis only stood their back in the first qualifier while chasing. Others have to take responsibility if they want to play the final against MI.

Considering the stats, DC has lost twice to SRH due to their inconsistency. Following that results SRH have a good chance in winning this final playoff. I must say it is a 75-25 game for SRH and DC.
