Transfer Career:
- In December 2017, he was named to the Indian squad for the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup
- In February 2018, he made his A-list debut for Jharkhand in the 2017-2018 Vijay Hazare Trophy
- In November 2018, he made his first class debut for Jharkhand in the 2018-19 Ranji Trophy. He was the main wicket taker for Jharkhand in the tournament, with 30 dismissals in nine matches.
- In February 2019, he made his Twenty20 debut for Jharkhand in the 2018-19 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
- In October 2019, he was named to the India B squad for the 2019-2020 Deodhar Trophy.
Biography:
Anukul started playing cricket in tournaments in Samastipur and moved to Jamshedpur for better cricket opportunities. The 22-year-old is an athletic outfielder who possesses a powerful throwing arm, a dynamic lower-order batsman, and is a specialty bowler.
He is a versatile left-arm player and one of the key players in India’s U-19 triumph at the 2018 World Cup in New Zealand.
In the IPL, he was picked by the Mumbai Indians ahead of the 2018 IPL season. In the years to come, Anukul Roy could easily set the national circuit on fire in all game formats due to his impressive skill set. If he consistently does it, the ultimate dream of representing the senior Indian team could come true.
