The Manipur born goalkeeper was a member of the Indian team that took part in the 2016 BRICS U-17 tournament held in Goa, Mohammad Nawaz had a breakthrough season in 2018-19, where he played a big role in the FC Goa side which reached the Hero ISL final. Nawaz made a strong comeback after an injury setback in the 2019-20 season keeping 5 clean sheets for the Goa side in their run to the top of the Hero ISL table. The young goalkeeper will be keen to retain his spot again this season.
