Mitchell Ross Marsh is an Australian international cricketer. Marsh can play all types of cricket. Having made his debut in the 2011-12 season.
Mitchell was born on October 20, 1991 in Attadale, Western Australia.
Marsh is the second son of Jeff Marsh and the younger brother of Sean Marsh. Both are famous cricketers who played for the Australian national team. Mitchell is also the cousin of Brad Sheppard, who plays for the West Coast Eagles.
He grew up in Perth, Western Australia. Marsh attended Wesley College there and made his state team debut at age 17, becoming the youngest person to play in an Australian one-day domestic tournament. Under his leadership, Australia won the 2010 U-19 Cricket World Cup tournament, with Marsh successfully scoring in 201.
Marsh scored 211 runs in the seventh inning, his first doubleheader, playing for Australia A against India A at Allan Border Field in July 2014. In February 2020, it was announced that he had joined Middlesex for the 2020 Vitality t20 competition. Marsh was selected by Sunrisers Hyderabad before the 2020 Indian Premier League in December 2019, but he played only 1 game against Royal Challengers Bangalore and was ruled out for the remainder of the season because of an ankle injury.
