Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham seems to be on the radar of three English sides at once: Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United. Now Real Madrid have also entered the race for the player.

According to insiders, Carlo Ancelotti is interested in the services of the 18-year-old footballer. The management of the Whites team see Bellingham as the heir to Luka Modric, who will turn 37 in September. Number 10’s current contract expires this summer and the renewal process has not been disclosed, but it is believed that he will announce the retirement from football in the next few years. By that point, Los Blancos intend to make a move to sign the promising youngster.

Thus, Jute will become another strategic part of the plan to rejuvenate the midfield of the capital club which is currently held down by 32-year-old Toni Kroos and 30-year-old Casemiro and aforementioned Croatian.

A number of other major clubs are also interested in Bellingham, but the German team would prefer to negotiate a possible transfer specifically with Real Madrid

The Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson prophesies a great future for his young compatriot, commenting on his talent:

“I have been very impressed. I like the way he plays. I like his personality, which is the most important thing. I like the way he conducts himself. I’ve got nothing but good things to say about him. He’s a great lad, a fantastic player and I’m sure he’ll go from strength to strength as he gets older and matures. When I watch him, he plays with such maturity even now. The sky is the limit for him really.”

he praises the youngster.

“He’s still very young, he’s doing so well at Dortmund [and] he’s done well whenever he’s played for England. For me, let’s just let him play football. Let him enjoy it because he is such a special talent. Yes, he’s got leadership qualities for sure but there’s no need to put that pressure on him right now. Let him grow into the person that he can be on his own. He’s got his feet firmly on the ground [and] has such maturity for a young player. I know in my own mind that he’s going to be a top player”

The player is named the world’s best wunderkind. Players born on or after 1 January 2003 were taken into account when compiling the recent top for 2022.
