Big Bash League (BBL) franchise Sydney Sixers have been signed by the Pakistan leg-spinner Shadab Khan for the ongoing season 2021-22 while they were facing a lot of problems in their spin department.
Sydney Sixers has been signed by Pakistan leg-spinner Shadab Khan for the ongoing season 11 of Big Bash League (BBL). Shadab Khan’s addition is a good thing for Sydney Sixers because they were facing a lot of problems in their spin department.
Sydney Sixers have been facing a lot of troubles in the ongoing 2021-22 season while a lot of their players are covering injuries. Tom Curran dropped out of the tournament due to a back injury.
Left-arm spinner Steve O’Keefe has been ruled out for the “short term” while Off-spinner Ben Manenti has also been ruled out of the league due to the injury. Both their spin bowlers were facing injuries and now Sixers have picked the Shadab Khan.
Shadab, who has got 197 wickets from 175 T20I games at an economy rate of 7.18. He has given an excellent performance in the recent T20 World Cup and picked nine wickets from the six games.
He is also able to play with the bat and in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), he plays as an attacking batsman.

Sixers coach Greg Shipperd said.
Shadab Khan is the fifth Pakistani player to play this Big Bash League (BBL) season while Haris Rauf, Ahmad Daniyal, Syed Faridoun, and Mohammad Hasnain have also been signed by the BBL franchises.
