Saqlain, Babar, and Rizwan suggested Ramiz Raja of bringing foreign coaches to the national team
Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Saqlain Mushtaq suggested the PCB chairman Ramiz Raja appoint the foreign coaches in the team environment while PCB had revealed the criteria for appointing the five coaches.
Pakistan skipper Babar Azam and wicket-keeper batsmen Mohammad Rizwan have suggested Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Raja, bring foreign coaches in part of the team management.
While talking in the ‘New Year Greeting’ video, Ramiz has said that he talked with Babar, Rizwan, and Saqlain Mushtaq for the Pakistan team coaches and trio have suggested him of bringing the foreign coaches to the team management.
“I talked to Babar, Saqlain, Rizwan and they opined to integrate foreign coaches in the national team’s dressing room,”
Ramiz said.
“But my way of thinking is quite open on this as I think that locals should be involved on away tours. You need regular coaches only to create the best dressing room environment,”
he added.
Ramiz said that there was a big goal not to involve so many technical coaches in the national team during the Bangladesh and West Indies series.
“I wanted to see how they can stand on their feet with their thinking. One can’t have any idea of greatness when he can’t grind in the difficult situation without any support,”
he maintained.
Early, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had revealed the criteria for appointing the five coaches.
The cricket board is looking for five player-support personal roles in which power hitting and high-performance coaches are also added.
