Pakistan all-format skipper Babar Azam has increased his hunger to remain on the list of elite batters across the world with a successful super series against Australia, in the ODIs.

Babar Azam, who has already been ranked as one of the best in the ODI ratings, delivered an outstanding performance in the ODI series against Australia after scoring 276 runs at an average of 136.0 including two centuries and a half-century against the visitors in the three-match series.

Pakistan all-format skipper Babar Azam has increased his hunger to remain on the list of elite batters across the world with a successful super series against Australia, in the ODIs.

His master class performance in the series not only gave him the player of the series award but also helped him surpass Sachin Tendulkar in the all-time International Cricket Council (ICC) ODI batting ratings.

Babar is currently at the top of his ODI ratings, which is 891, which came after the conclusion of the home series against Australia, and has surpassed many cricket gurus including Sachin Tendulkar to earn the 15th spot in the all-time ICC ODI ratings.

Led by the West Indian Legend Sir Vivian Richards, the list also adds two Pakistani batters Zaheer Abbas, who is second on the list, and Javed Miandad who stands at seventh position with 910 points.

Indian right-hand batter Virat Kohli is in the sixth spot with 911 points. Apart from Kohli, the only modern-era batters in the top ten are South African batters AB de Villiers and Hashim Amla who are ranked 9th and 10th respectively.
