Biography:
Yadav is an aggressive batsman who also plays bowling and isn’t afraid to innovate. He came from a typical middle-class family and learned his skills by playing on the streets of Maharashtra. At the age of 10, his father saw his inclination for the game, and he made him join a cricket camp in the BARC colony in Chembur.
At 12, his coach HS Kamath saw his exceptional dedication as a player and kept him motivated for the better. Then he went to the Elf Vengsarkar Academy, where Dilip Vengsarkar guided him.
He was signed by the Mumbai Indians in 2011, after playing just one first-class match. During the 2012-2013 period, Suryakumar caught many eyes with his sleek hit selection paired with improvised at will hits, but then with reckless hit selection and faced a lot of criticism for it.
At the 2014 auction, Kolkata Knight Riders bought for their services but again went to their local Mumbai Indians team at the 2018 IPL auction.
