Srivats Goswami is an Indian cricketer. A left-handed batsman and wicketkeeper. He was born on May 18, 1989 in Lilua in Howrah, West Bengal. He started playing cricket at 11 years old.
Shreevats played domestic under-19 cricket for Bengal and he scored 97 against South Africa and 104 against Bangladesh in a series in South Africa in January 2008. At the U/19 Cricket World Cup in Malaysia, Goswami scored 58 runs in one of the league matches and 51 in the semifinals against New Zealand.
In his first three seasons in the Indian Premier League, Shreevats played for the Royal Challengers Bangalore. In the 4th edition of the IPL, Goswami remained in the unoccupied player pool and was signed by Kolkata Knight Riders, and in the 5th edition of the IPL he moved to Rajasthan Royals.
Shreevats was selected for the Board President’s XI for a practice match against Australian Steve Smith in September 2017. His good performances also earned him a place in the ODI series in India against the A’s of New Zealand.
In January 2018, he was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2018.
