The experienced Indian goalkeeper began his career with I-League outfit Pailan Arrows in 2011. He was part of many top sides like Mohun Bagan AC, Lonestar Kashmir, Salgaocar FC, and Churchill Brothers SC, before signing for FC Goa ahead of the 2017-18 ISL campaign. Kerala Blasters FC signed him in 2018 but was soon loaned out to the Gaurs. Naveen Kumar played a crucial role in FC Goa’s journey till the final in the absence of Mohammad Nawaz in the 2018-19 season.
