Marcus Stoinis
Marcus Stoinis is an Australian all-rounder who bowls right-arm medium and also very handy with the bat. He is popular for his big hits and primarily a T20 player who does an amazing job in the batting and bowling department. Stoinis earned a name for himself by playing for his country in the U-19 World Cup in 2008.
He made his List-A debut by playing for senior Western Australia in the Ford Ranger Cup in 2009. After a few days, he made his Sheffield Shield debut against Queensland. Marcus played his first T20 International against England Cricket Team at Cardiff on 31 August 2015. He bowled just six balls and conceded thirteen runs.
Just after eleven days, Stoinis made his One Day International debut against England Cricket Team on 11 September 2015. After giving exceptional performance in Big Bash League, IPL team Kings XI Punjab bought him for INR 5.5 million for IPL 2016. He took eight wickets in seven games and scored 146 runs for the franchise.
However, Marcus could reflect the same form for Kings XI Punjab in IPL 2018 and was dropped by the franchise in IPL 2019. He moved to Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore for IPL 2019. Stoinis got many opportunities to prove his worth but could not perform well. He scored 211 runs in ten matches and picked two wickets only.
