Chennai Super King’s star batsman, Suresh Raina, announced his autobiography “Believe-What life & cricket taught me”. It is all set to be released in the month of may by the house of Penguin India publisher. The announcement came just after three days of his successful comeback for CSK at the IPL 2021

Raina made his debut in 2005 for international cricket & he quickly became one of the most reliable middle order batsman in the team. In IPL, under the captaincy of MS Dhoni, he gained the same kind of trust for CSK. Now it has been more than a decade with IPL & he is the second-highest run-getter in the IPL behind Virat Kohli.

Raina announced his return to IPL in style- in the opening match for CSK in IPL 2021, the left-handed batsman was seen back among runs. Raina (54) completed his fifty off 32 deliveries, which included 4 massive sixes and 3 boundaries.

Last year, Suresh Raina had pulled out of the IPL due to personal reasons. In his absence, Chennai Super Kings ended 7th in the points table.

The book will be co-authored by Raina & sports author Bharat Sunderesan. The book expected to follow Raina’s lightning-fast rise in the Indian cricket team and the hardships that he encountered on the way to becoming a record-breaking batsman. The book should also help unwind the story of Raina’s early days as a budding cricketer in UP. Fans can pre-order their copy of ‘Believe’ now.
