Biography:
Karn Sharma is an Indian cricket player, born in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on 23rd October 1987. He is mainly a right-arm leg-break bowler and also plays well with the bat. Sharma made his first-class debut in the 2007 Ranji Trophy, where he represented Railways at the Karnail Singh Stadium against Jammu & Kashmir.
With his slow cricketing career, he finally got into attention in the 2012 Ranji Trophy season, where he took 21 wickets in three matches. Karn’s performance included several crucial wickets against the great team of Rajasthan. He received the BCCI award for the best cricketer Under-25.
In 2009, he started his IPL career with Royal Challengers Bangalore and was a part of the team that ended up being the runner ups. But never got the chance to be in the playing eleven in that season. In 2018, Chennai Super Kings bought him for five crores at the IPL auctions. He played a total of six matches throughout the season, where he took four wickets.
In the 2020 IPL season, he is part of the playing squad, and everyone is expecting a better performance from him. Karn’s bowling skills shocks everyone, and he is the only player to win IPL with three different clubs.
