Jason Omar Holder is a Barbadian cricketer and former captain of the West Indies cricket team. Jason was born on November 5, 1991 in Bridgetown, Barbados. His batting style is right-handed, bowling style is right-arm fast-medium. Holder is a fan of the FC Tottenham Hotspur.
He made his debut in the One Day International Cricket Tournament (ODI) against Australia in 2013 and a Test tournament in 2014. In April 2019, he was named captain of the West Indies team for the 2019 Cricket World Cup. In January 2019, he was ranked number one in the world in the official ICC Test rankings. Holder played in his 150th international match for the West Indies against India on June 27, 2019. In August 2019, Cricket West Indies named him the Test Player of the Year.
