Gary Hooper started his football journey with Tottenham Hotspur academy at the age of seven, moving to Grays Athletic at the age of 14. Hooper made his senior team debut with the Grays in 2004, helping them win the Conference South league before moving to Southend United. In 2010, the English forward moved to Scottish giants Celtic, playing in the UEFA Champions League and Europa League. He also won the Scottish Cup and the Scottish League Championship with the club. He then moved to England to join Premier League club Norwich City FC and was their top scorer for two seasons before moving to Sheffield Wednesday on loan and then permanently. After three strong seasons with the club, he moved to the A-League to join Wellington Pheonix ahead of the 2019-20 season. Gary Hooper joins a young Kerala Blasters FC which will add the necessary experience to the squad.
