Biography:
Devdutt Padikkal is an Indian cricket player who was born in a small town of Karnataka named Edappal. He is a shining star in India’s youth cricket. He is a regular player in India’s Under-19 cricket team and plays for Royal Challengers Banglore in IPL.
He started playing cricket when he was nine years old. In the year 2009, he was selected in the Karnataka Institute of cricket at Bangalore. He has been playing as an opener for the Karnataka cricket team. In 2018, he made his first debut against the Maharashtra cricket team at Mysore.
After that, he got enrolled in India’s under-19 national cricket team. In 2019, he was the part of the winning team of the Asia Cup 2019. He only played two matches in the entire tournament, semi-finals, and finals.
Then in 2019, Royal Challengers Bangalore bought him for the tournament. However, he did not get a chance to play in that particular season. He played his first IPL inning in 2020 against Sunrisers Hyderabad and scored 56 runs off 42 balls.
