Virat Binod Singh is an Indian cricketer. Virat made his season debut in the 2013-14 senior cricket category to Jharkhand, being 16 years old. A left-armed batsman who usually ranks third in the batting order. Singh also played in inter-zone matches, making his East Zone debut in December 2014. He was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2020.

Virat made his debut for the Jharkhand Under-19 team in the 2012-13 edition of the Human Wine Trophy when he was 14 years old.In the tournament, Singh scored 152 runs in five innings. Singh scored a half-century, 73 runs off 98 balls against Assam. Virat was selected to participate in the 2012-13 BCCI Interzonal Tournament along with his brother Vishal.In the 2013-14 season, Virat again played under-19 matches for Jharkhand and the East Zone, and this season he captained the Kutch Behar Cup. At the start of the tournament, he was just 15 years old. In the inter-zonal one-day tournament, Virat led the East Zone.

Later in the 2013-14 season, Virat was selected to make his senior debut for Jharkhand, having played in the limited Vijay Hazard Trophy. He retained his spot on Jharkhand’s senior team for the 2014-15 season, going on to play at the domestic under-19 level with the goal of qualifying for the Indian Under-19 National Team. His debut in the Ranji Trophy in December 2014 saw him score a maiden first-class century in his second match, and even 100 points in a match against Kerala. Virat also made his East Zone debut late in the season and scored 54 runs in the finals of the limited-overs Dedhar Trophy.

He was named to India’s C-team for the 2019-20 Dedhar Trophy in October 2019.
