The Rio de Janeiro-born midfielder is technically gifted and has the ability to play on either wing, as an attacking midfielder or a striker. With Delhi Dynamos FC, he was the top scorer of Hero ISL 2016. The 2017-18 season was no different as Marcelinho became the top goal contributor for FC Pune City. The Brazilian was a key cog for Hyderabad FC as well, scoring plenty of goals for the club in ISL 2019-20.
