The Australian Test skipper Pat Cummins has just married his long-time fiancée Becky Boston. The right-arm pacer posted a picture on Instagram and captioned it: “Just Married.”

As soon as he posted the picture, his teammate David Warner was the first one to congratulate him with: “Congrats mate.” Cummins IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders also sent their congratulations to the newlywed couple. The couple also has a kid together who is nine-month-old and they named him Albie.

As far as their relationship is concerned, Cummins and Becky got engaged back in February 2020 after the first meeting in 2013. In May 2021, Cummins announced that he would be becoming a father in a few months.

Later in October, Becky gave birth to their first-born child and named him Albie Boston Cummins. The Australian pacer shared a blog on his social media handle showing the complete journey throughout his wife’s pregnancy.

After embracing fatherhood, Cummins traveled to UAE for Australia’s campaign in the T20 World Cup 2021. He had more reasons to cheer after that as Australia lifted their maiden T20 World Cup title after beating New Zealand in the final in Dubai.

The 29-year-old was last seen in action against Sri Lanka in the two-match Test series which ended in a draw (1-1). The skipper picked up two wickets and scored 47 runs in the series.

In the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka, Cummins took eight wickets and scored 39 runs. The right-arm pacer is currently the number 1 ranked Test bowler with 49 points ahead of the second-placed Ravichandran Ashwin.

The former is ranked seventh in Test all-rounder rankings, ahead of Kyle Mayers from West Indies, Colin de Grandhomme (New Zealand), and Kyle Jamieson (New Zealand).

The skipper was part of Australia’s victory in the Ashes last year and he also led Australia to a historic Test series against Pakistan in Pakistan.
