Two ultimate clashes on Day 6 of the esteemed Pro Kabaddi League will drive away your mid-week blues as Bengaluru Bulls are set to take on Bengal Warriors in the first match.

The next battle is even more interesting, with UP Yoddhas taking on the Season 8 champions, Dabang Delhi. Just like the other past matches, these battles will once again take place at Bengaluru’s Sree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium.

Bengaluru Bulls have won both of their games so far, after beating Telugu Titans on the first day of the league and then winning a sensational encounter against Puneri Paltan on Super Sunday. Now, they will look for a hat trick against the Bengal Warriors on Wednesday.

The other game features the current champions, Dabang Delhi, taking on UP Yoddhas. Pardeep Narwal’s UP Yoddhas had a terrible outing against U Mumba where they lost by a margin of 7 points.

Delhi, on the other hand, crushed Gujarat Giants with a score of 53-33 in their last match. The Yoddhas would like to fight back in the upcoming encounter, whereas Dabang Delhi would be hoping to keep their magnificent touch in this game as well.

Let’s take a deeper glance at the preview and predictions for the Day 6 matches:

Match 14: Bengaluru Bulls vs Bengal Warriors

It doesn’t matter if it’s a weekend or a weekday, the craze for the Pro Kabaddi League in Bengaluru has been unmatchable. With Bangalore playing on Wednesday, one can expect an electrifying atmosphere inside the stadium. The Warriors are coming off a remarkable victory over the Telugu Titans in their last match, while Bengaluru too won a tough battle against the Paltan. The battle between the winners is going to be super exciting for sure.

The Bulls had a good last season as they qualified for the playoffs but couldn’t play at their best in that round. The Bengal Warriors failed to qualify for the next round last season with just 9 victories out of 22. They do not want to repeat the same mistakes this time and will try to make it to the playoffs.

Talking about the head-to-head encounters to date, both the teams have won 9 matches against each other in the 18 games played so far. This shows their toughness every time they face each other. One can expect a similar outing on Wednesday as well when both sides will face off once again.

With the inclusion of Deepak Niwas Hooda, the Bengal Warriors must have taken some breather. However, the legendary PKL player hasn’t been at his best so far. Deepak has been ordinary in the past two battles for his side, and the franchise will be hoping for his extraordinary skills in the upcoming games. He would be the player to watch out for the Bengal Warriors in this clash.

Vikash Khandola, who was previously a part of the Haryana Steelers, had a terrific outing against Puneri Paltan where he scored a sensational Super 10. At the auction, he was chosen in place of Pawan Sehrawat, and the franchise would like to see justice done with the purchase. Vikash is one of the finest players to have ever played in the PKL and he is still the man to be looked at in the upcoming match.

Keeping in mind the home crowd and the past performance, the Bengaluru Bulls are favorites to win this match. But a team like Bengal Warriors is never out of the competition with some marvellous players in the form of Maninder Singh and Deepak Niwas Hooda.

Predicted Starting Seven

Bengaluru Bulls: Vikash Khandola, Mahender Singh (C), Bharat, Neeraj Narwal, Saurabh Nandal, Aman, Rajnesh

Bengal Warriors: Maninder Singh (C), Deepak Niwas Hooda, Vibhav Garje, Balaji D, Shrikant Jadhav, Shubham Shinde, Girish Maruti

Match 15: UP Yoddhas vs Dabang Delhi

Champions of Season 8, Dabang Delhi have been in fine form in this edition, with a couple of spectacular victories against U Mumba and Gujarat Giants. Both games were one-sided in favour of the previous edition winners. This shows their high confidence at the moment and while the side has been changed a bit as compared to the previous edition, the style of play is exactly the same.

UP Yoddhas, on the other hand, won their season opener last Friday against Jaipur Pink Panthers but lost to U Mumba a couple of days ago. The team has some prominent names in their squad in the form of Ashu Singh and Pardeep Narwal, who can beat any side on their day. The battle against in-form Dabang Delhi won’t be easy for them.

Both Delhi and UP have met 7 times before, and it is hard to believe that UP Yoddha has tasted success five times while Delhi’s Dabang has won only twice. This record proves how dominant UP Yoddha used to be in the past few years. They can still make a terrific comeback as it’s still the early stages of the tournament.

Pardeep Narwal will be the man to watch out for. Fans are eager to witness his best days, and who knows when he can take the game away from the opposition. On the other hand, Naveen Kumar, the showstopper of Dabang Delhi, will be on everyone’s list to be looked at. Recently, the 22-year-old from Sultanpur broke Pardeep Narwal’s record as the fastest player to reach 700 raid points. He is surely the next big thing in the world of Kabaddi.

Even after seeing the past records, Dabang Delhi have an upper hand in this battle. Delhi’s dominance so far has kept every team in doubt. Only some extraordinary skills can save UP Yoddha on Wednesday, else it should be Delhi’s game.

Predicted Starting Seven

Dabang Delhi: Naveen Kumar (C), Ravi Kumar, Vishal, Manjeet, Ashu Malik, Krishan, Sandeep Dhull

UP Yoddha: Pardeep Narwal, Ashu Singh, Shubham Kumar, Surender Gill, Durgesh Kumar, Nitesh Kumar (C), Sumit
