Naveen Kumar will have one more season under his belt with Dabang Delhi

The twelve PKL clubs announced their retained players’ list ahead of the auction of PKL Season 10 and it comes as no surprise that Naveen Kumar will once again turn up for Dabang Delhi. The other prominent players whom the clubs have reposed their faith in are Aslam Inamdar (Puneri Paltan), Pardeep Narwal (U.P. Yoddhas), and Arjun Deshwal (Jaipur Pink Panthers).

The PKL clubs have also realized their pain areas and decided to free up their purse to bolster their squad. As a result, a lot of big names will go under the auction. Mohammadreza Shadloui, the left corner defender who dazzled one and all with his ankle holds, has been released by Patna Pirates.

The story is no different for Bengal Warriors’ Maninder Singh, who led his side to glory in PKL season 7. After suffering an injury in the very first match of last season, Tamil Thalaivas have decided to release Pawan Sehrawat as the team reached the playoffs without him.

The Iranian duo of Fazel Atrachali and Mohammad Nabibakhsh who guided Puneri Paltan to the finals with their defensive heroics will be missing this time. Pune’s plan frees up Fazel to rejoin U Mumba for whom he is a cult figure. Telugu Titan’s Siddharth Desai who looks like a shadow of his former past and will try to revive his fortunes for a different side this time.

Being bought by Bengaluru Bulls for a whopping amount of 1.7 crores rupees last season, the side decided to release Vikash Khandola. Hopefully, Tamil Thalaivas can snap him up this time after failing to do so in the last auctions.

Elite Players List – Jaipur Pink Panthers and U Mumba retain their core

The winners of PKL Season 9 – Jaipur Pink Panthers – retained their core of Sunil Kumar, V Ajith Kumar, Reza Mirbagheri, Arjun Deshwal, and Sahul Kumar. Deshwal, who bagged the MVP award last season, will be aiming to repeat his heroics this time.

The story was no different for U Mumba, although they finished ninth in the points table. Many expected them to go for a change in personnel but the fans would see the quartet of Surinder Singh, Jai Bhagwan, Rinku, and Heiderali Akram once again in the black stripes of U Mumba.

Puneri Paltan, Gujarat Giants, and UP Yoddhas retained two sets of players each. Abinesh Nadarajan and Gaurav Khatri will turn up for the Pune-based side while Pardeep Narwal and Nitesh Kumar will show up for the Yoddhas. Manuj and Sonu will turn up for the Giants once more.

Ajinkya Pawar (Tamil Thalaivas), Parvesh Bhainswal (Telugu Titans), K Prapanjan (Haryana Steelers), and Neeran Narwal (Bengaluru Bulls) were the solo elite players retained by their sides.

Retained Young Players List – Tamil Thalaivas and Puneri Paltan continue with their youthful cores

Aslam Inamdar will like to turn up the heat for Puneri Paltan once more

Tamil Thalaivas had the highest number of retained young players in their side. Sagar, Himanshu, M Abishek, Sahil, Mohit, and Aashish will once again don the jerseys of the Thalaivas. Puneri Paltans had five young players retentions to their name with Sanket Sawant, Pankaj Mohite, Aslam Inamdar, Mohit Goyat, and Akash Shinde trying to help their side clinch the title unlike the last time when they lost in the final

The trio of Sumit, Ashu Singh, and Surender Gill have been retained by the Yoddhas with Vinay, Jaideep, and Mohit turning up for the Steelers once again. Ace raider Rajnish will like to pick up more points for Telugu Titans this time with Shivam and Rakesh hoping to do the same for U Mumba and Gujarat Giants respectively.

Dabang Delhi’s Naveen Kumar and Patna Pirates’ Manish will try their best to ensure their sides go further than where they finished last season. For Bengaluru Bulls, Bharat and Saurabh Nandal will try their best to conjure points with their defensive heroics.

Existing New Young Players List – A total of 38 players get retained

A total of 38 players were retained by the PKL franchises under the section of existing new young players list. Bengal Warriors have the quartet of Vaibhav Garje, R Guhan, Suyog Gaikar, and Parshant Kumar to back them up with Aman and Yash Hooda to continue with Bengaluru Bulls.

Naveen, Monu, Harsh, and Sunny will play for Haryana Steelers while Ankush, Abhishek KS, Ashish, and Devank will turn up for Jaipur Pink Panthers.

Thiyagarajan Yuvaraj, Naveen Sharma, Ranjit Naik, and Anuj Kumar will don the jersey of Patna Pirates for another season, while Shivansh Thakur, Pranay Rane, Rupesh, and Sachin will try to come up with some contributions for U Mumba.

Badal Singh and Aditya Shinde will try to bag some points for Puneri Paltan with Narender, Himanshu, and Jatin putting their best foot forward for Tamil Thalaivas.
