Bengaluru Bulls and Puneri Paltan in one of their games from PKL Season 8

Super Sunday is set to be sensational with two big games taking place on Day 38 of the Pro Kabaddi League Season 9. While Haryana Steelers will be facing off against Dabang Delhi, the second game will be of two champions in the form of Puneri Paltan and Bengaluru Bulls.

Haryana Steelers won a crunch game against Gujarat Giants on November 14 after three consecutive losses. The side would look to improve their position in the points table as they are currently placed at the ninth spot. On the other hand, Dabang Delhi is not in its best form with just six victories out of 14. Naveen Kumar’s men are currently standing in the tenth spot even after a brilliant start to this season.

Bengaluru Bulls vs Puneri Paltan is surely a clash of champions. With nine victories out of 14 matches, the Bulls are at the top of the table. Puneri Paltan, on the other hand, is in the second spot with eight victories in the same number of games. Fazel Atrachali & Co. have been tremendous after a bad start to the tournament. The Paltan would look to continue their good run in this battle.

Let us take a look at the previews and predictions of Day 38 matches:

Match 90: Haryana Steelers vs Dabang Delhi

Haryana Steelers are a way better team than their current position in the points table. The franchise had a great last game, beating Gujarat Giants in a thriller. Manjeet showed his class with a spectacular Super 10 in this victory. Also, Jaideep Dahiya and veteran Joginder Narwal supported them throughout their defending.

On the other hand, Dabang Delhi would be looking to get back on the winning track. They will also play against Patna Pirates before this match. Naveen & Co. started off really well in the tournament but are now struggling to get victories. The match against Haryana Steelers will be a good chance for them to bring back their winning days.

Talking about their head-to-head battles, Dabang Delhi has become victorious four times to date whereas Haryana Steelers won seven times. This northern derby has always been full of entertainment. It is going to be a good chance for Delhi to improve their head-to-head record against Manpreet Singh’s Haryana Steelers.

Naveen Kumar will be the man to watch out for in this match whereas Jaideep Dahiya will try to ruin Naveen’s day with his defending skills. Looking at Delhi’s terrible run currently, Haryana Steelers will be the favorites to win this game. But it is just going to take one victory for Dabang to come back in the tournament.

Match 91: Bengaluru Bulls vs Puneri Paltan

Table toppers Bengaluru Bulls have been fabulous since the beginning of the tournament. The team has always shown a collective effort in the majority of their games. On the contrary, Puneri Paltan improved regularly from their bad start and is currently second in the table. The franchise has played brilliantly, especially after the arrival of their skipper Fazel Atrachali.

On the other hand, Bengaluru Bulls are not regretting after releasing Pawan Sehrawat before the auction. His injury is a different matter, but the team has been outstanding without him. Players like Vikash Khandola, Neeraj Narwal, and Bharat are showing their talent in almost every encounter. Now, with the game against Puneri, things could go wrong for the Bulls in front of their magnificent defence.

The battle of the champions has been played 15 times in the past with Bengaluru winning the encounters on seven occasions whereas Puneri Paltan became victorious eight times. Talking about the key players to watch out for, it is going to be Puneri Paltan’s Fazel Atrachali who would be looking to put Vikash Khandola and Neeraj Narwal on the backfoot. From the Bulls, Bharat and Vikash will be the key players.

Predicting the winner of this game is a tough call but Bengaluru Bulls are slightly ahead due to their raiding department performing consistently. The Bulls will be the favorites to win the game.
