In the recent past, Spurs have been stronger than Manchester United FC (2:0), AFC Bournemouth (2:0), Burnley FC (5:2) and Sheffield United FC (2:1) and also drew with Arsenal FC. The London derby ended with a 2:2 scoreline. 

For Postecoglou, the tasks for the season are also simplified by the fact that there are no European Cup matches on Tottenham’s schedule this season. It is worth noting that the Spurs have problems in defense, as there is still no chemistry between central defenders Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven. The defense is not perfect, but the deficiencies in its game are not noticeable due to the fact that the Reds are able to score at least three times in almost every game.

At the same time, the club continues to experience the same problems in defense as last season, but to a lesser extent.
