Experienced A-League defender Scott Neville joins East Bengal

The Indian Super League (ISL) is approaching fast, and all the clubs are training, building teams, and staff for the same. The East Bengal Club recently announced that the A-League defender Scott Neville will be joining the club on a season-long loan from Brisbane Roar. He will be playing for the East Bengal in the upcoming Indian Super League 2020-21 season.

The new season of the Indian Super League (ISL) will witness many new foreigner signings, just like the A-League defender Scott Neville joining East Bengal from Brisbane Roar. The defender has played under the new East Bengal coach Robbie Fowler.

Prashant Bangur, the joint managing director of Shree Cement, showed his gratitude towards the Brisbane Roar Football Club for agreeing to make this loan move. The experienced player has played 12 consecutive seasons in the A-League with 200+ appearances and was also featured in the Australia U-23 team. They are glad to have Scott on board, he added.

In the 2019-20 season, Scott Neville only missed two matches and played almost every match for Brisbane Roar. The 31-year-old player has a career spanning over a decade, having experience of 200+ matches, he is a capable player. While Navile was in the Brisbane Roar Football Club, he helped the team finish fourth in the A-League Final Series and the Play-offs with his excellent skills.

On his signing, Scott said India presents a new challenge, and he cannot wait to join the team, don the red and gold jersey, and go on the field. He also mentioned that he is aware of the massive expectations from foreign players in India, and the fans can be assured of great performances from them, Scott concluded.
