PUBG Mobile’s much-awaited return in India has hyped up interest among Indian PUBG lovers. It has truly been a rollercoaster ride for them in the past couple of months. It went from being the most bankable gaming phenomena in the country to being banned by its government, in a matter of seconds. But it is coming back, in a completely new and Indianized avatar. But the return could be marred as rumors have been circulating that it might be quite some time before the general audience can play it like they used to before.

Earlier in November, PUBG Corps, the creators of the famed title, announced the aforementioned Indianized version of the battle royale game, in a press release. There will be some attributable changes to the gameplay of the customized version, in order to reflect and fulfill the local users’ preferences and needs.

Two weeks have subsequently passed since the fascinating announcement, and Indian PUBG streamers have been trying to keep the hype up for their viewers, but none of them have been able to shed any light on the exact or possible release date of the much-awaited Indian version of the game.

Recently, though, a popular PUBG Mobile streamer Maxtern, claimed in a few of his tweets that a selected number of game influencers in India have been given a test version of the PUBG Mobile India. He deleted the tweets eventually and posted a detailed clarification post as well, to clear the air regarding the deleted tweets.
