Playstation’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales set to head to PC

Sony hosted the PlayStation State of Play for June 2022 on 2nd June to make announcements regarding their upcoming games. During the event, Sony disclosed that the PlayStation-exclusive Marvel’s Spider-Man series is coming to PC. Insomniac hits – Marvel’s Spider-Man, and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be released in quick succession for PC later this year. Spider-Man Remastered is slated for an August 12th release, while there has been no specific date mentioned for Miles Morales yet. However, Sony has revealed that the launch window for this title, will be in Fall 2022.

The Spider-Man franchise has some of the most successful and popular games on PlayStation, and they are finally coming to PC. Call it a double-bonanza for PC gamers! After Horizon Zero Dawn, God of War, and Uncharted, the Spider-Man series is the next major PlayStation-exclusive franchise to be made available for PC gamers.

Developed by the Insomniac Games, in collaboration with Marvel, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will introduce an experienced Peter Parker, who fights big crimes and iconic villains in Marvel’s New York. As he struggles to find balance in his chaotic personal life and career, the fate of New York will fall upon his shoulders.

Miles Morales is scripted around a similar storyline. He is expected to rise to the challenge of becoming the Spider-Man for his community in East Harlem. In Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, available on both PS4 and PS5, Miles is adjusting to his new home in East Harlem while stepping into the shoes of his mentor, Peter Parker. However, as intense power-battle brews in his town and threatens to destroy his new home, Miles will have to take a stand and take up the responsibility as the Spider-Man to save Marvel’s, New York. “With great power, comes great responsibility.”

Miles Morales was released earlier in November 2020 along with the PlayStation 5 console. It was supposed to be an extension of Spider-Man (2018). However, Miles Morales managed to sprawl into its own standalone title, and the developer studio, Insomniac Games, announced that it was “the next adventure in Marvel’s Spider-Man universe.”
