Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo, the Brazilian ace AWPer and a true in-game CS:GO leader, has ended all speculation surrounding his future today by officially signing for the successful CS:GO roster of the Dutch eSports org Team Liquid from Brazilian side MiBR.

Gabriel, in the process, has replaced the long serving Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken in the ranks of Team Liquid. “Twistzz” left Team Liquid after the loss at the hands of Astralis in the finals of the popular European CS:GO tournament “Intel Extreme Masters XV”. Team Liquid lost that game 0-3.

It won’t be an exaggeration if “FalleN” is depicted as a true legend in the Brazilian competitive CS:GO scene. According to HLTV’s CS:GO rankings in 2016, he was the number two CS:GO player in the world. He also finished sixth on the rankings a year later.

FalleN’s illustrious career has also been decorated with multiple national and international titles through the course of his stints with firstly Luminosity, then SK Gaming, and at last MiBR (Made in Brazil). He has previously won the ESL One: Cologne championship not once, but twice. He also won the Season 3 and Season 6 titles of the famed ESL Pro League.

Twistzz, on the other hand, finished ninth on the same HLTV rankings, but in 2019. He is often deemed as the driving force of the outstanding run for Team Liquid in the 2019 season. He, though, has not yet been able to seal his move away from the Dutch side, and currently finds himself positioned on the team’s bench.

The current CS:GO roster of Team Liquid now looks like this:
