Emile Smith Rowe

Emile Smith Rowe is an English professional football player born in 2000 who is currently playing for Arsenal.

He joined the Arsenal Hale End Academy (Arsenal’s youth academy) in 2010. ESR graduated from Arsenal`s Youth School. He plays as an attacking midfielder, also he was striker on loans. His style is to attack defenders with his dribbles and speed.

Arsenal signed him when he was only 10 years old. He has played in nearly all youth-teams of the Premier League club.  Being 17 years-old boy he joined the senior first team for the first time when they had their pre-season trip in Singapore in 2017. He even scored a goal in the 1–1 draw against Atletico Madrid in the International Champions Cup. In 2018 he signed a long term deal with Arsenal.

The manager, Unai Emery stated that the youngster has lots of potential and as such Arsenal have contracted him for a long time (5 years). He has already made his debut in competitive matches for Arsenal and he is expected to be very valuable for the London team over the upcoming years. He has some very stiff competition at the wing position but this young lad is confident in his abilities.

He was on loan at Huddersfield Town and played decent season, and as for now he is again in Arsenal.
