Ravi Bishnoi says I am happy with my bowling and I will try and win the series for India

India’s Young leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi said on Friday that a highly regarded T20 batter Shreyas Iyer is expected to make a big impact in the final two games of the five-match series while Iyer, the designated vice-captain, will return, giving India another chance to win the series after leading 2-1; Iyer missed the first three games due to rest.

India’s Young leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi said on Friday that a highly regarded T20 batter Shreyas iyer is expected to make a big impact in the final two games of the five-match series.

Iyer, the designated vice-captain, will return, giving India another chance to win the series after leading 2-1. Iyer missed the first three games due to rest.

Shreyas scored 530 runs in 11 matches of the recent ODI World Cup.

“He brings a lot of reputation in T20 cricket and has been in good form in the World Cup. As a senior player, his experience will also help us.”

The 23-year-old leg spinner has been the most effective bowler in the series, with 6 wickets taken at 19.66.

Bishnoi gave team captain Suryakumar Yadav credit for this, saying that he gave the bowlers a “freehand”.

“As a captain, Surya Bhai gives you a free hand, he gives you all the right to place the fielders, the length that you want to bowl but you have to deliver in your execution,”

said Bishnoi.

“He has been doing great captaincy in the last 2-3 matches.”

Bishnoi made his debut for India in a T20 match against the West Indies in February of last year. So far, he has played in 19 T20 Internationals and taken 31 wickets.

The Indian team has a lot of young players because a lot of the senior players are resting, and Bishnoi said it’s important to seize the chance and leave your mark.

“It is a great opportunity for young players from both the teams because such opportunities come rare when senior players are rested. We have a great chance to win the series,”

he said.

“We have a lot of young players so we will look to execute the plans, the focus will be on execution.”

In the last several games, heavy dew has shown to be a contributing element, making it tough for bowlers to grip the ball.

In the third T20I, Glenn Maxwell helped Australia to five wickets in Guwahati by taking the bowlers to task. India was unable to defend 43 runs in the final two overs of the innings.

“We try to practice with wet bowls. I have done well in the last two matches despite the dewy conditions. I try not to give loose deliveries. If a batsman goes for a shot then it’s okay, but if I bowl loose balls, that is not acceptable to me,” he said.

“I am happy with my bowling and I will try and win the series for India.”

The spinner from Rajasthan, who was the leading wicket-taker in the 2020 Under-19 World Cup, has participated in four IPL seasons, taking 53 wickets at an average of 27.26 while playing for the Punjab Kings and Lucknow Super Giants.

“I learned a lot. International cricket is the ultimate aim for everyone and it was my dream too. The atmosphere is different. In IPL, players get divided into franchises,”

he said.

“Other players from different countries are also part of the team but here you play for the country so there are a lot of expectations.”

The Indian cricket teams for their tour of South Africa have been announced. The BCCI men’s Selection Committee met on Thursday in New Delhi to select Team India’s line-up for the upcoming all-format tour of South Africa.

Two Test matches, three ODIs, and three T20Is are scheduled for the Indian squad. India A will also play two four-day matches against South Africa A and one three-day inter-squad match during the tour.

For the South Africa Tour, Indian cricketers Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are absent from both the ODI and T20I squads. The BCCI has revealed why the duo is not part of the squads.

There isn’t an injury keeping Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli out of the T20Is and ODIs. A BCCI release stated that the two willingly informed BCCI that they would like to take a vacation from the white-ball portion of the South Africa Tour.

“Rohit Sharma and Mr Virat Kohli had requested the Board for a break from the white-ball leg of the tour. Mohd. Shami is currently undergoing medical treatment and his availability is subject to fitness. Mr Abhimanyu Easwaran’s availability is subject to fitness,”

The BCCI said in a release.
