Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair made an alliance to challenge WWE Women’s Tag Team champions Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair at WWE Fastlane on March 21.

Baszler and Jax won the Tag Team crowns in August 2020 by beating Banks and Bayley. They lost the gold to Asuka and Charlotte Flair in December. However, the ladies took revenge and got their belts back at Royal Rumble on January 31 this year. Sasha failed to defeat the star tandem with Bayley; consequently, she decided to join forces with Belair instead. WWE booked the bout for a pay-per-view wrestling event Fastlane scheduled on March 21. The contest will be hosted in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Bianca triumphed at Royal Rumble 2021 and qualified for WrestleMania 37. She had to choose between SmackDown queen Sasha and Raw title-holder Asuka as her opponent for The Grandest Stage of Them All. Surprisingly, Belair opted to face Banks. Thus, the athletes will turn from allies into enemies shortly after WWE Fastlane.

WrestleMania 37 is set to be headlined by a title showdown between Universal champion Roman Reigns and Royal Rumble 2021 winner Edge. Reigns captured the gold for the second time in August 2020. Edge won multiple belts during his wrestling career and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, but he never had the Universal crown. This might be the reason for picking Roman as a rival for WrestleMania.
