Popular Bollywood star goes down memory lane remembering WWE’s The Undertaker

The Undertaker’s fan-following amongst Indian WWE enthusiasts is unmatched. The Phenom, from Death Valley, has undoubtedly turned out to be the most popular superstar and recognizable face in the WWE from India. His popularity, and now retirement has got a popular Bollywood actor nostalgic. 

Actor Abhishek Bachchan has now reminisced his childhood memory of The Undertaker, and has also not forgotten to wish The Phenom the best post-retirement life. Check out his rich tributes below:

In this regard, The Undertaker’s popularity also hit record-high in India with sports broadcaster Ten Sports announcing a run of The Undertaker’s best matches on TV as part of the “30 years of Undertaker” tribute series. Indian WWE enthusiasts would be able to watch The Deadman perform in some of his best matches till 14 December everyday on Ten Sports 1 and Ten 3 Hindi respectively.

In related news, The Undertaker made his last in-ring appearance at the Survivor Series last Sunday. He formally announced his retirement from the WWE-styled sports entertainment. It is worth noting at this juncture that The Phenom had his very first match in WWE (then WWF) at Survivor Series 1990. It is not a coincidence that he retired from the industry exactly 30 years later.

Finally, The Undertaker has a Wrestlemania record of 23-2 win-loss record. With this, he revolutionized modern day wrestling. It is in this path that he became a household name amongst Indian WWE fans; especially the teenage viewers.
