One of the best tennis players in the world, Daniil Medvedev, changed the course of the final match by winning the ATP Final Tournament. 

During the award ceremony, he thanked everyone involved in this victory and recalled the first victory of a Russian in this tournament. In 2009 Nikolay Davydenko won the final of the tournament. In an interview after the game, Medvedev told reporters that that victory inspired him when he was a 13-year-old athlete.

When asked about plans for the future, the athlete gave an unequivocal answer. Medvedev said that he wants to rest and most likely will not go anywhere.
