Coronavirus infection caused a pandemic back in 2019, which hasn’t stopped raging to this day. Due to this epidemiological situation, the ATP has prepared another tranche of financial aid to non-ranked players.
Tennis players ranked between 31st and 500th singles and doubles players in the top 200 will receive money from the association. The exceptions will be those who earned $150,000 last year, as well as the disqualified.
Players will receive a lump sum payment of $5,040. However, non-US residents will only accept $4,738 because of withholding taxes.
It should also be recalled that for the same reason, the ATP paid $4,325 to players twice in 2020.
