Samuel spent initial years honing his skills at the Chandigarh Football Academy before joining Shillong Lajong’s youth team in 2015 and made his senior debut in I-League 2015-16 and over the next three seasons, the youngster became one of the centerpieces for the Reds, raking in goals at will. He bagged the Emerging Player of the Season award in the I-League season of 2017-18. The 2018-19 season saw him join Minerva Punjab on loan. The youngster made his ISL debut with Kerala Blasters FC in Hero ISL 2019-20 and the midfielder will be hoping to have more of an impact with Odisha FC in the 2020-21 season.
