Biography

Mohit Mahipal Sharma is an Indian cricketer who represents the country at the international level. At the domestic level, he plays for Haryana. He made his debut for Haryana in the 2011-12 season. By starting his career decently, he was trained by Ian Pont. In the 2012-13 season, he gave an exceptional performance by picking up 37 wickets in seven games.

Mohit made his IPL debut by playing for Chenna               i Super Kings in 2013 and attract everyone’s eyes by showing his bowling skills. He was retained by the franchise in the next season in which he took 23 wickets and won the purple cap by becoming the highest number of wickets in the tournament. For IPL 2020, the Delhi Capitals bought him for INR 50 lakhs.

After giving an impeccable performance in IPL, Mohit made his ODI debut on 1 August 2013 against Zimbabwe. Sharma played his first T20 against Australia in 2014, in which he took one wicket. After that, he was selected for the 2014 World T20 in Bangladesh, where he picked up three wickets in the tournament.

Mohit was born on 18 September 1988 to Mahipal Sharma and Sunita Sharma in Ballabhgarh, Haryana. He is the last player who took the Sachin Tendulkar’s wicket in Frist-class cricket in 2013.
