CSK after beating PBKS by 6 wickets have climbed from the bottom to second on IPL points table 2021 after two matches conducted for both teams.

MS Dhoni got the best gift for his 200th match after CSK beat PBKS by 6 wickets in match 8 of IPL 2021 at Mumbai on Friday.

After an embarrassing defeat from the first match, CSK recovered well as Deepak Chahar went on to tear PBKS top order to middle order, the right arm pacer picked up four wickets by giving only 13 runs in his four overs.

PBKS never settled from their position and yet managed to post only 106 runs in the allotted overs.

Chasing the lowest target, CSK opener, Ruturaj Gaikwad fell cheaply but Faf du Plessis and Moeen Ali built a solid partnership to help CSK get across the line.

PBKS bowlers in response, fought back, but their lack of scoring could not help them much as a result they got defeated by 6 wickets.
