India to play FIBA Asia Cup 2021 Qualifiers in Bahrain
FIBA Asia Cup 2021 is going to become one of the most important basketball events in Asia. Two November windows are coming, hosting cities for the Groups are going to be Manama, Doha, and Amman.
Both windows are going to be played in bubbles, instead of away and home games
FIBA confirmed Bahrain, Qatar, and Jordan to become hosts of the November windows, having a possibility to provide safe transporting and playing conditions. As Covid-19 is still spreading, FIBA decided to play both windows in bubbles, bothering about the health of every participant.
Manama, Bahrain is going to host Group A (Korea, Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand) and Group D (India, Lebanon, Iraq, and Bahrain).
Amman, Jordan will host Group F during the second window (Jordan, Palestine, Sri Lanka, and Kazakhstan).
Doha, Qatar will take in Group B (Chinese Taipei, China, Malaysia, and Japan) and Group E (Iran, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Syria) teams.
Other details and the final schedule will be announced soon by FIBA.
